Congratulations to Ellen and Sean
It's not everyday that you get to become friends with a local celebrity, let alone photograph their wedding. Some of you might think that I'm referring to a famous local musican, but that's not it. I'm referring to a local entrepreneur, a change-maker, and someone whose mission is to put small towns and their businesses on the big map. Yes, I'm referring to Ellen Matis. Ellen works tirelessly to help small town businesses grow, whether that's through social media instruction and education, managing co-working spaces, or co-organizing record breaking events, ie. Bellefonte Under the Lights. Her passion for her work shines bright and it was truly an honor to photographer her wedding day which shined even brighter.
If you know Ellen and Sean than you know that they are small town folk through and through. There's nothing better to them then going to a local spot to share drinks with a few friends, explore the outdoors, and relax with their fur babies. So as you can image there was a similar theme for their wedding, minus the fur babies. Their wedding took place on their family's farm, which provided a beautiful landscape and scenery. The ceremony was very intimate with family members singing songs and their closest friends and family joining in on signing their life-size marriage certificate. Their reception was full drinks and laughs amongst friends, a piñata, fire pit, horses, and sparkers. It doesn't get much more fun and intimate than that.
Please join me in congratulating Ellen and Sean on a wonderful wedding celebration.
